Track and show employee career development, based on past Employments and potential career tracks
1. Authentication and connection
Use Merge Link to authorize an HRIS integration in a seamless end user experience.
2. Complete an initial employee import
GET /employees, /employment, and /groups to pull the roster of current employees and their managers, locations, departments, and job titles.
Use Scopes to limit what employee fields are being synced.
3. Track employee changes over time
Use webhooks or the Merge API to track changes to an employee over time.
4. Display insights to customers
Using Merge data, generate insights to employee retention, churn, and promotion.
5. (Optional) Survey terminated employees
If authorized, reach out to offboarded employees with a survey about their employment experience.
